Several oriental herbs and peppers are known to be able to restore pigmentation cells ( melanocyte cells ) of the hair bulb. Melanocytes actually control hair color by generating the pigment melanin.These cells are very active during childhood and early adulthood, but decline as the body ages. When the melanocytes stop producing these pigments, we sprout a transparent hair, which appears as an unsightly gray due to the color of the dead cells that comprise the strand.
Graying of the hair generally starts at the age of around 30 for males and 35 for females however since the onset of this phenomena varies greatly from person to person, age is not the most accurate indicator.

The graying of hair appears to be genetically determined but the connection isn't at all clear.

Our new product ReMelanil contains liposomal preparations of Black Sansho Pepper from Japan, Fo-Ti Root, Black Sesame Seed, Licorice and Epimedium( all from China), Alcohol

Active ingredients:

Fo-Ti root contains lecithin, anthraquinones, chrysophanic acid, emodin, rhein, chrysophanic acid anthrone, b-sitosterol, 2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxystibene-2O-b-D-glucoside, quercetin-3-O-galactoside, querctin-3 -O -arabinoside

Black sesame is very rich in Vitamins A and E. It is an excellent muscle stimulant, powerful anti-oxidant suitable for all skin types

Licorice contains glycosides, saponins, flavonoids, bitter, volatile oil, coumarin, asparagine, estrogenic substances, sterols .

Sansho pepper contain mostly monoterpene derivatives (citronellal, citronellol) and unsaturated C 6 compounds (e.g., Z-3-hexenal), which contribute to a grassy odour. (Bioscience, Biotechnology and Biochemistry, 61 , 491, 1997) In the unripe fruits, the content of essential oil is reported to 0.6%, with ß-phellandrene (42%), d -limonene (23%) and ß-pinene (11%) being the main components.

Please keep in mind that ReMelanil is the first known version of a liposomal Sansho Pepper and Fo-Ti preparation.Because of the preparation and extraction process a certain amount of alcohol is unavoidable.Please do not use ReMelanil if your skin is extremely sensitive for topical alcohol.

Use: It is important that the lotion is used on the skin and not on the hair.In the evening apply 1-3 ml with the dropper to the graying areas.Use one fingertip to spread the lotion.Do not rub or massage.

In the morning use the ReMelanil shampoo instead.
