What is Lipoxidil Pro-6 MLL  ?

Lipoxidil Pro-6 MLL is the first and only product on the market  which contains 6 % Minoxidil entrapped in multi-layer liposomes ( MLL) As discovered by Prof. Mezie minoxidil ingredients entrapped in liposomes exhibit better stability, penetration and efficacy at lower usage levels. Liposomes based Minoxidil accumulates over time in the deeper skin layers, targets the sebaceous glands and provides a constant flow to the hair roots. Based on the studies of Dr.Mezie it is safe to say that Lipoxidil is about 10 times more effective than regular 2% or 5 % Minoxidil in reaching the subcutaneous area.

  Multi-layer liposomes / DMS

Muli-layer liposomes - also known as DMS or  Derma-Membrane Structure -  are very much simular to human skin. DMS has a lamellar structure, similar to the natural lipid barrier structure of skin (illustration 1), unlike conventional o/w- and w/o-emulsions. The production of this lamellar structure is based on a special hightech-production procedure, employing high-grade and cost-intensive ingredients. DMS bases are extremely stable with a shelf life of 12 months.

With the use of DMS base it became possible to completely avoid the use of alcohol or PPG when manufacturing minoxidil solutions. Alcohol is contraproductive in each hairloss product. PPG is known to cause allergies and skin reactions. Minoxidil concentrations up to 20 % are possible 100 % alcohol free.

But Lipoxidil Pro-6 is not only alcohol free minoxidil. It further contains the newest anti-hairloss substances based on the year 2006 research.

What else is in Lipoxidil Pro-6 ?

A brand new ingredient is Di-Indolyl Methane ( DIM). DIM is a stable indole found in cruciferous vegetables and currently known to promote a beneficial estrogen metabolism in both women and men. But DIM can do more. Current research shows that DIM is a strong competitive inhibitor of DHT binding to the AR and works simular as the synthetic antiandrogen Casodex. The study comes to the conclusion that DIM is the first example of a pure androgen receptor antagonist derived from plants .

Next ingredient is caffeine. Caffeine counteracts the growth inhibitory effects of testosterone. Growth suppression caused by DHT was ex-vivo completely neutralized by caffeine 0.005 %. Further caffeine significantly stimulated hair growth.

Carnitine-Tartrate is a bio-active that significantly
increases cellular ATP contents. ATP is an essential prerequisite for the growth of
strong and healthy hair. Not only the differentiation and proliferation
of hair follicle keratinocytes, which form the visible hair shafts,
depend on energy consuming processes, but also production of growth
factors, cytokines etc. by neighbouring cells (e.g. dermal papilla
cells) need to be supplied with ATP.

Cyanocobalamin was recently discovered as having a synergistic effect with the potassium channel opener minoxidil. Grown hair weight was improved by about 20 % .
